To dream you meet with an adversary, denotes that you will overcome some obstacle to your happiness—if you are a lover, you will conqu er some powerful rival, and be happy.
To dream you ride an ass, that bears your blows, and the more you beat, the slower his pace, denotes that you will be married to a virtuous industrious wife, but your passion will ruin her. If the ass mends his pace under your blows, and throws you she will prove incontinent.
To dream you are at the altar, and receive the holy sacrament. is a very unfavourable omen, and denotes many heavy and severe afflictions.
To dream that you see it cloudy, and afterwards clear and serene, denotes one part of your lifetime will prove unhappy, the latter part the reverse.
To dream you are angling, betokens loose desires in the m ale; such as seeking opportunities of inveigling some innocent female.
To dream that you are in a passion and angry with any one, denotes you have many enemies ! if you are in love, be sure that some rival is slandering you to your sweetheart. If you dream you see another in a passion with you; it is more favourable, if you are in love, your sweetheart will fall sick, and you will experience some weighty loss.
To dream you see angels, is a sure sign that some one is near you—if a woman with child dreams of them, she will have a good time, perhaps twins.
To dream of seeing apples, and they eat sweet and ripe, is a sure sign of prosperity, especially to virgins; if they should eat sour, it signifies much sorrow and unhappiness.
To dream that your apparel is proper and suited to the season of the year, denotes prosperity and happiness. To dream you are dressed in new clothes, is a favourable sign, and portends honour and succsss in your undertakings.
So dream you see a ghost, is very unfortunate: If it is of a comely aspect, and dressed in white, it shews deceit and temptation to sin; if you are in love, it is a sign of your not being beloved in turn, and that you are in the habits of friendship with one who is your most inveterate enemy.
To dream that your arms are withered and decayed, shows that the person will decline in health or fortune; if they appear to be more plump and grow strong, you will meet with unexpected prosperity; if your arms are broken, you will lose some dear friend by removing to a great distance, if your right arm is cut off, you will loose a near male relation, if the left, a female.
It is good always for a rich man to think or dream he is in authority.
To dream of bacon, denotes the death of some friend or relation, and that enemies will endeavour to do you a mischief; in love, it denotes disappointment and discontent.
To dream of eating barley-bread, betokens health and great comfort to the dreamer.
To dream you are in a boat on clear water, is very good, and indicates joy and prosperity.

If one meets a castrated person who is unknown to him and who has a dignified look and speaks words of wisdom in the dream, it means that he has met an angle who is conveying glad tidings or bringing a warning from his Lord. Ifhe recognizes the castrated person in his dream, it means that he has met with an acquaintance of his. Seeing oneselfcastrated in a dream also means increase in one’s devotion and guarding of his chastity. Castration in a dream also means negation of favors, loss of one’s family or children, or it may imply absence of mannerism, choosing to satisfy one’s personal comfort over the interests of others, and it represents evil intent or hypocrisy. To dream of milking a cow is an indication that you will be fortunate in both business and love, in proportion to the amount of milk secured.
If the cow proves to be dry, or nearly so, coolness is likely to develop in your affair of the heart, and your business will probably decline.

Ten Thousand Dream Interpretation
A fortuneteller in a dream represents someone who can explain the meaning of things, a man of knowledge, an emissary, a dream interpreter, a treasurer or a supply controller. Seeing a fortuneteller in a dream also signifies stagnation of businesses, a recession and a slump. Coming before a fortuneteller to ask about some understanding in a dream denotes distress, burdens or dismay.
If the fortuneteller replies with a truthful answer in the dream, one should accept his answer. Ifthe fortuneteller maintains silence and declines to answer in the dream, it means abolition of one’s intent or dismissal of any benefits. (Also see Astrologer; Divination; Dream interpreter; Seer)
The former also sees himself pinning his foe to the ground by means of four nails. When he awoke in the morning, he sent his man to Muhammad bin Sireen (RA) for the interpretation of the dream. He also cautioned him not to reveal to the Imaam the name of the one who saw the dream, nor the winnr nor the loser. When the Imaam heard this he exclaimed: “This is not your dream! Nor can anyone except Abdul Malik ibn Marewan or Abdullah bin Zubair see such a dream!” The Imaam decline to interpret the dream.
The person returned to Abdullah bin Zubair and informed him tof the Imaam’s refusal to interpret the dream until the real person who had seen the dream is not known. Abdullah bin Zubair 9RA) sent his messenger back to tell the Imaam that it was he who had seen the dream When the Imaam was informed to this and the fact that the loser was Abdul Malik bin Marwan he said that Ibne Marwan will gain victory over Abdullah bin Zubair, killing him in the process. Thereafter, the chain of Khilafat will reamin in the family of ibne Marwan. This interpretation was given because of the fact that ibne Marwan was pinned to the ground by means of four nails.
The interpretation turned out to be exactly as the Imaam had stated!.
An influence that causes odd behavior, such as the full moon or a blue moon are purported to do.

Each phase of the moon has slightly different associations.
The waxing crescent symbolizes new beginnings and growth.
A full moon indicates maturity, especially of a more maternal disposition, and a waning moon is the emblem of decline and old age. Note, however, that your ways of thinking can be metaphorically old without physical age.
Howling at the moon: A release of animal instincts and energies. Also possibly a sign of a superstitious person.
Something that is rare, and should be enjoyed while it lasts (e.g., “once in a blue moon”).

For a young woman to dream of a white mule, shows she will marry a wealthy foreigner, or one who, while wealthy, will not be congenial in tastes.
If she dreams of mules running loose, she will have beaux and admirers, but no offers of marriage.

At the same time, the image of the potato refers to groundedness, since it grows underground. As a root plant, the potato addresses the rootedness of the dream- er. As a tuber, the potato has a peculiar androgynous shape: it could represent a phallic symbol as well as typically feminine shapes. As one of the basic food forms, the potato also represents the nurturing female as well as the power of Mother Nature.
If the bridle and the martingale are unadorned in the dream, then such a dream represents a humble person, and connotes that his heart is better than what his outer look may suggest. Reins in a dream also connote safety or a safety belt. Wearing a harness in a dream means safety, and that one does not interfere with others’ business or talk about them. However, should one who has to appear in court see himselfwearing a harness in a dream, it means that his proof will not be accepted by the judge, and subsequently he will lose his case. Ifthe reins of one’s horse are broken in a dream, it could mean the death of his driver. Reins in a dream also denote chastity, guardianship and protection. They also represent the obligatory payment of alms tax which cleanses and protects one’s capital.
If the reins or the harness fall from one’s hand in the dream, it means corruption in one’s religious life, a decline in his devotion, or that one’s wife will become unlawful to him (i.e., living together after a divorce), or that she will remain in his house without a legal marriage.
To see oneself bridled in a dream also means refraining from sin, or observing a voluntary religious fast.

If one’s wife is pregnant, and ifhe sees himself wearing a golden ring in a dream, it means that she will give birth to a son.
The king’s ring in a dream represents his kingdom. Cutting off a tight ring with a pair of pliers in a dream means the end to one’s authority. Any incrustations on one’s ring in a dream represent his goals. Ifthe gemstone of one’s ring falls in a dream, it may mean the death of his child, or the loss of his business.
A broken ring in a dream means divorce. Wearing a ring made of iron in a dream means that one will receive benefits though with great strain on him. Wearing a golden ring carrying a precious stone in a dream means that such benefits will come with ease.
If it is a plain ring or a band with no stone, it means engaging in a strenuous project and getting nothing out of it. Rings made of ivory or from an animal’s horn in a dream represent glad tidings for a woman. Seeing someone in authority stamping a document with his ring as a seal in a dream means that one will receive an important political appointment. Ifone who is accustomed to wearing a silver ring sees himself offering it as a gift to whoever he wishes in a dream, it means that he will preside over an honorable post. Wearing the governor’s ring in a dream means an appointment as a dignitary, or inheriting such a rank from one’s father. Ifone’s father does not hold such a position, then it means the opposite of one’s wishes. Finding a lost ring in a dream means earning money from a foreign land, or having a new born son, or it could mean a marriage to a righteous woman.
If the stone of one’s ring seems unstable in the dream, it means that one will be fired form his job. Removing one’s ring in a dream means that one maybe removed from his job.
If a woman sees herself removing her wedding ring in a dream, it means the death of either her husband or of a close relative.
A ring in a dream also connotes a band, an encumbrance. or a shackle.
If one’s ring disappears and only the stone remains in the dream, it means that once the responsibilities are gone, good memories of the person will remain.
A man wearing a golden ring in a dream represents innovation, and the results will bring about afflictions, betrayal, or a revolt. Wearing a tight ring in the dream means that one will be let off from a vicious woman, or that he will be spared from a wicked duty.
A borrowed wedding ring in a dream represents an ownership that will not last.
If one buys an engraved ring in a dream, it means that he will own something he never owned before, such as a house, a vehicle, or perhaps he may get married, or bear a child.
